The print process in many ways is the perfect medium. The layering of images are representative of our multi layered culture, producing a visual coherence. Print enables the artist to alter the size of specific work and its constituents. It is possible to create images by controlling the opacity of the ink allowing an infinite variation in the degree to which a particular image or layers are seen. The most inspirational quality that print has in its armoury, is the infinite range of marks, photographic, mechanical and painterly. Abstract and representational forms can be combined to produce an individual dialogue, the result is a visual poetry.
